Transforming from Blah to Fab!

Transformation of 2 bedroom and 1 bath home in Memphis Midtown/Binghampton area turned into a fun project. This was a little gem we found that just needed lots of TLC to be transformed into a modern farmhouse! And lots of TLC we gave it!

When my business partner, Brian, told me about this house my reaction was ... ummmm, ahhhh, No! It scared me a bit. It did not look so pretty and it would need a lot of work. We had lots on our plate as we had been taking on quite a few renovations needing to be ready this spring. After some discussion and projecting a little vision .... okay, maybe a lot of vision we decided to take on the project. And what a great decision this was!

The first thing we decided is this little home needed a wow factor to add some curb appeal. So we had it painted grey and added that bright yellow on the door. Super great decision! As you approach the house that door really grabs your eye!

Inside we added new tile in the kitchen and brand new floors in the rest of the home. Adding a brand new kitchen was oodles of fun. It's small but it has lots of charm! White cabinets and black knobs and we even added shiplap to the kitchen. Just gave it that final "I'm a farmhouse kitchen" look we were aiming for. What a delightful little home this turned out to be!

Put this house on the market for rental just in time for spring and it was snatched in just 3 short days!
